Step-by-step instructions to connect ChatGPT with Claap's MCP server
Overview
Claap's MCP (Model Context Protocol) server integration allows you to connect your Claap data directly to ChatGPT. Once connected, you can ask ChatGPT questions about your meeting recordings, contacts, company data, and deals, and ChatGPT will automatically retrieve the relevant data from your Claap workspace to provide accurate, personalized responses.
In this article you will learn how to add Claap's MCP server to your set of ChatGPT. Read more about Using Claap's MCP server

"Show me my recent meeting recordings about the Q4 project"
"Find contacts from ABC Company"
"What deals are currently in the negotiation stage?"
"Search for meetings where competitors were mentioned"
Troubleshooting
Connection Issues:
Ensure you have a paid Claap subscription
Verify that the MCP server URL is entered correctly:
https://api.claap.io/mcp
Try refreshing your browser and attempting the connection again
If you enabled the developer mode in chatGPT Plus plan, you also need to enable the Developer mode in the chat to access Claap MCP in Connectors > Sources
Authorization Problems:
Make sure pop-ups are enabled in your browser for both ChatGPT and Claap
Clear your browser cache and cookies if the authorization page doesn't load properly
Ensure you're logged into the correct Claap and ChatGPT accounts
Tools Not Working:
Verify that the Claap connector shows in the Enabled connectors list in your ChatGPT settings
Check that your Claap workspace contains the data you're trying to access
Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration if queries aren't returning expected results
