Full access API keys and webhooks: include private recordings in your automations

Admins can create API keys and webhooks that return private recordings across the whole workspace, with a confirmation step and an audit list.

By default, private recordings are not returned by the API and do not trigger webhooks. If you push every call to a CRM, a data warehouse or an automation tool like n8n, private calls such as 1:1s or board meetings are missing from your data.

Full access closes that gap. It is an admin only option that makes an API key or a webhook include private recordings across the entire workspace.

⚠️ Only workspace admins can enable Full access. A Full access credential returns all private recordings in the workspace, not only those of the admin who created it.

Create a Full access API key

  1. Go to Settings > API & Webhooks > API

  2. Click Create API key and name your key

  3. Turn on Include all private recordings. This option is off by default.

  4. Tick the I understand… confirmation checkbox. The Create button stays disabled until you do.

  5. Create the key and store it securely

Create or upgrade a Full access webhook

  1. Go to Settings > API & Webhooks > Webhooks

  2. Create a webhook, or open an existing one to edit it

  3. Turn on Include all private recordings

  4. Tick the confirmation checkbox and save

Identify Full access credentials

Full access keys and webhooks carry a Full access badge in their table. Hover it to see what it means.

The API keys and Webhooks tables also show Created by and Created columns for every credential, Full access or not. This helps when several admins manage integrations.

Audit Full access from Security settings

Go to Settings > Security. At the bottom of the page, the Full-access API keys & webhooks section lists every Full access credential in the workspace. When there are none, the section shows an empty state.

Click a row to jump to that credential in its settings page.

An event is also added to the workspace audit trail each time a Full access key or webhook is created.

Current limits

  • Full access covers the whole workspace. You cannot limit it to specific recordings.

  • Other admins are not notified when a Full access credential is created. Use the Security section to review them.

  • The Security list is read only. To revoke or change Full access, edit or delete the credential itself from API & Webhooks.

FAQ

How do I include private recordings in my CRM or data warehouse sync? Create the API key or webhook used by your sync with Include all private recordings turned on. You need to be an admin.

How do I know which keys and webhooks have Full access? Look for the Full access badge in the API keys and Webhooks tables, or check Settings > Security.

Do my existing keys and webhooks change? No. The option is off by default. Existing credentials keep their current behavior until an admin turns Full access on.
