Claap only delivers its full value once each teammate has connected what they need. The Setup column on the Members page shows admins who is ready, who is missing something, and lets them send a reminder without leaving the page.
Where to find it
Go to Settings > Members. The Setup column is visible by default.
What each status means
Status | Meaning |
đ˘ Ready | Everything expected for this member is connected |
đ Action needed | At least one expected connection is missing |
đ´ Not started | Nothing expected is connected yet |
Neutral dash | Nothing is expected from this member (Free seat) |
How the status is calculated
The status only counts what each member is expected to connect, based on their licence.
Paid seats are expected to connect their Calendar and their Email
Free seats are never flagged
Email only counts if the email integration is enabled at workspace level. Otherwise it is hidden and ignored.
See the detail for a member
Click a status pill to open the breakdown. It shows the state of each connection:
Calendar: Connected or Not connected
Email: Connected or Not connected, only when the workspace email integration is enabled
Mobile app: Installed or Not installed
Desktop app: Installed or Not installed
đĄ Mobile and Desktop app tracking depends on the member installing the app and logging in for the first time. The Desktop app is still in beta.
Remind a teammate to finish setup
Click the member's status pill
Click Remind to finish setup. The button only appears when something is missing.
A confirmation shows Reminder sent to {name}, and the member's row then shows Reminder sent
The member receives an email sent on your behalf, titled {Admin} pinged you to finish setting up Claap. It lists only the items they are still missing, with a Complete set up button that takes them back to Claap.
Add Calendar and Email columns
For a more detailed view, add Calendar and Email as separate columns from the Columns picker.
Current limits
Reminders are sent by email only, not by Slack
You cannot add a personal message to the reminder
There is no Remind all action yet. Reminders are sent one member at a time.
FAQ
Why is a member shown as Action needed? Click the pill to see which connection is missing.
Why does a member show a neutral dash? They are on a Free seat, so nothing is expected from them.
Why don't I see Email in the breakdown? The email integration is not enabled at workspace level yet.
Can I remind all missing members at once? Not yet. Send reminders one member at a time.
