Configuring your desktop app settings

Written by Enzo Soverini

You can tailor a few things about how the desktop app looks and behaves. Open Settings from the left sidebar, and you'll find them under General.

Appearance

Choose the app's colour theme. Pick Dark or Light from the dropdown to match your preference (or your eyes at the end of a long day).

Open on system startup

Turn this on to launch Claap automatically when you log in to your Mac. It's the easiest way to make sure the app is always ready in the background, so you never miss capturing a meeting.

Notify me when meetings start

Turn this on to get a notification whenever a calendar meeting is about to begin. A gentle nudge so you can hit Start now in time.

šŸ’” If you record meetings regularly, we'd suggest turning on both Open on system startup and Notify me when meetings start, that combination means Claap is always running and always reminds you at the right moment.
