AI Fields turn every meeting into structured data: each field answers one question about a recording (for example "Who is the champion?" or "What is the next step?") and fills in the answer automatically.
This article shows you how to edit an existing AI Field, including its prompt, type, and CRM sync.

AI Fields live inside your Meeting Views (smart tables), in the Meetings section of the left menu. Each AI Field appears as a column in the view.
Edit an existing AI Field
Open the Meeting View that contains the field.
Click the AI Field's column header (or right-click it) to open the column menu.
Select Edit AI field.
Adjust what you need (see the options below), the most common change is the Prompt.
Click Generate AI field to save and apply your changes.
What you can change
Prompt: the question the AI answers for each meeting. This is what most people come here to adjust.
Type: how the answer is formatted (Paragraph for free text, Bullet points or List for multiple items, Checkbox for yes/no).
CRM Field: map the field to a HubSpot or Salesforce property so its value syncs to your CRM. Only available when a CRM is connected.
Add timestamps on each item: for List-type fields, adds a timestamp next to each entry so you can jump straight to the moment in the recording.
Test: run the field on a few recordings to preview the result and refine your prompt before applying it everywhere. Testing is free.
Auto-run on new meetings: when on, the field regenerates automatically on every new meeting, with no manual step.
Apply your changes to existing meetings
Editing a prompt does not update meetings that were already processed.
Your change applies to new meetings, but past recordings keep their previous value until you regenerate the field.
To reapply the updated field to past meetings:
For one column across the table: click the wand icon in the column header.
For selected meetings: tick the recordings, click Bulk edit, then Complete X recordings.
For a single meeting: click the icon in the empty cell of that recording.
For all future meetings, turning on Auto-run means the field regenerates automatically as soon as each new recording is processed.
Save your changes as a template
When editing a field, you can click Save as template (or Update template if it is already saved) to keep it in your AI field templates library. Templates let you reuse the same field across multiple views and share it with your team, so you keep one consistent source of truth.
