In your browser, you can open the Claap Extension using shortcut ⌘+⇧+S (CMD+SHIFT+S on MacOS or CTRL+SHIFT+S on Windows).
It may however happen that this shortcut is overriden by another extension or by your system. Follow the steps below to restore the shortcut:
In your browser, go to
chrome://extensions/shortcutsLocate the Claap extension
Next to "Activate the extension", click on the edit icon ✏️
Press the desired keys on your keyboard at the same time: ⌘ + ⇧ + S
That's it. From any tab in your browser, pressing this shortcut will now open the extension to start a recording
💡 You can actually choose to assign any shortcut you prefer to start the Claap extension, but beware, as many shortcuts are already in use in your apps, your system, and in the Claap extension itself.
