Why doesn't my ⌘+⇧+S shortcut open the Claap extension?
How to ?
Another browser extension or your operating system is overriding the shortcut. To restore it, In your browser, go to chrome://extensions/shortcuts
Locate the Claap extension
Next to "Activate the extension", click on the edit icon ✏️
Press the desired keys on your keyboard at the same time: ⌘ + ⇧ + S
That's it. From any tab in your browser, pressing this shortcut will now open the extension to start a recording
Context
You can assign any shortcut you prefer, you're not limited to the default. Be aware that many key combinations are already claimed by other apps, your OS, or Claap itself.
The default shortcut is ⌘+⇧+S on macOS and Ctrl+Shift+S on Windows.
