How to delete your profile

Deleting your profile from Claap will result in all your information being removed from our system.

Definition of profile

Your profile represents your data connected to your registration and email address. It can be associated with several workspaces.

Please note that a profile and an account are two different things:

How to delete your profile

❗️Danger zone: Deleting your profile results in deleting all your claaps, topics, and comments. You cannot undo this action.

  1. Click on the name of your workspace in the lateral bar.

  2. Go to Workspace Settings.

  3. Click on the My account tab.

  4. Scroll down until the bottom of the page.

  5. Click on Delete my account.

  6. Confirm you want to delete your account from all workspaces by clicking on Permanently delete account in the popup.

  7. You instantly lose access to all your workspaces. Any private topics and claaps will be deleted.

Special cases

  • If you're the only member of any of your workspaces, it will be removed along with the account.

  • If you are the only admin for any of your workspaces, it will be deleted unless you designate at least one other member as an admin.
