Overview

The Claap x Ringover integration allows you to import your Ringover conversations into Claap. Claap will then transcribe the call, automatically generate meeting notes, sync them with your CRM, and give you access to key insights.

Turn on Ringover Integration

Before being able to import your calls from Ringover, you will need to connect your Ringover account with your Claap account:

  1. Login to your Claap account

  2. Click on the Workspace Logo and then on Settings

  3. Click on View all integrations

  4. In the Apps & Integrations window click on the Ringover tile

  5. Click on Connect

  6. You will be prompted to enter your Ringover API credentials. To obtain these:

    • Log in to your Ringover Dashboard

    • Go to the API menu

    • Click Create API Key

    • Select your profile and give it a name

    • Enable Monitoring and enable all Read permissions

    • Copy your API Key

  7. Back in Claap, paste your Ringover API Key in the appropriate field

  8. In your Ringover Dashboard, go to the Webhooks section

  9. Copy the Webhook Key for the Call Event from Ringover

  10. Back in Claap, paste the Webhook Key in the appropriate field

  11. Click Connect

  12. Claap will then provide you with a Webhook URL

  13. Copy this Webhook URL and paste it into the After-Call Work section of the Call Event in the Webhooks page of your Ringover Dashboard

That's it! At this point, you have successfully connected your Ringover account with your Claap account.

The Ringover integration tile should now show a green check in Apps & Integrations.

Set your minimum duration for Ringover imports

Under Preferences in the Ringover integration settings, you can choose the minimum duration above which your Ringover conversations will be imported into Claap. By default the minimum duration is set to 2 minutes.

Conversations shorter than this limit will not be imported. You can choose among the following duration thresholds:

  • No minimum (i.e. all Ringover conversations will be imported into Claap)

  • 15 seconds

  • 30 seconds

  • 1 minute

  • 2 minutes

  • 5 minutes

How it works

Once the integration is connected, anytime you have a recorded conversation on Ringover it will be imported into Claap within a few minutes after the end of your call, assuming it meets the minimum duration limit you set in your integration settings.

Your call will appear among your meetings in your Library.

After being processed, the recording will have its transcript available and automatic summary generated, as any other meeting recording.

Synchronize Ringover conversations with your CRM

πŸ’‘ CRM sync will automatically be triggered if you have a CRM connected to Claap and if your contact's information in Ringover can be matched with the contact details in your CRM.

If Ringover detects a phone number that matches a contact in your connected CRM, Claap will automatically associate the imported call with that contact. This ensures your call recordings and notes are seamlessly synced to the relevant deals and contacts in your CRM.

Disconnect the Claap x Ringover integration

In order to disconnect Ringover from your Claap workspace:

  1. Open your Workspace Settings

  2. Click on View all integrations

  3. Find the Ringover integration in your connected integrations

  4. Click on Disconnect

Prerequisites:

  • You must have a Ringover Business or Advanced account to benefit from this integration

  • The integration must be performed by an admin or technical account in Ringover

  • You need admin access in Claap to set up integrations

Troubleshooting

Q. Why aren't my Ringover calls being imported into Claap?

Check the following:

  1. Ensure your calls are being recorded in Ringover

  2. Verify that the call duration exceeds your minimum duration threshold setting

  3. Confirm your API key and webhook are properly configured

  4. Check that you have a paid Ringover account (Business or Advanced plan)
