What is the Claap x Harvestr integration?

With Claap x Harvest, you can:

  • Capture the product feedback hidden in customer calls

  • Categorize it instantly to uncover patterns and opportunities

  • Transform it into roadmap-shaping insights that drive revenue

And finally answer questions like:

  • What product gaps are making us lose deals, and what’s the cost?

  • Which features are driving retention and expansion?

  • Where are we better (or worse) than the competition?

Prerequisites

Setup the Claap x Harvestr integration

Step 1: Initiate the Integration in Harvest

  1. In Harvestr, go to Settings > Integrations > Claap

  2. Click Connect

  3. This will generate a unique webhook URL for your workspace

  4. Copy this webhook URL

Step 2: Contact Claap Support to create a Webhook

  1. Go to your Claap workspace Settings > API & Webhooks and create a webhook

  2. Name the webhook, for example "Harvestr integration"

  3. Select the recording added event

  4. Paste the Harvestr webhook URL from Step 1

Step 3: Finalize the Integration

  1. Back in Harvestr, go to the Claap integration setup page

  2. Paste the Claap Webhook ID and Claap Webhook Secret

  3. Click Save

✅ The Claap integration is now complete. Harvestr will begin receiving feedback highlights from your calls.

Conditions for importing a Claap call into Harvestr

For a Claap recording to be imported into Harvestr, the following conditions must be met:

  • The recording must include an Insights template

  • One of the sections within this template must be titled "Product feedback" (Check with the Harvestr Support team to possibly customize this)

  • The description field of that section must not be empty

Example insight setup

Here’s an example of a prompt you can add to the instructions for your Product Feedback section:

Detect when the customer shares a need, frustration, or suggestion related to the product (e.g., missing feature, UX issue, integration request, performance concern, pricing). Highlight and list the exact customer verbatims without rephrasing or summarizing. Group verbatims by topic when relevant.

Once your template is ready, make sure it’s automatically applied to the relevant meeting recordings by applying the template to the right channels.

What Harvestr imports from the call

When a call is sent to Harvestr via the integration, a new feedback item is created and includes:

  • The content of the "Product feedback" section

  • The recording transcript

  • Recording participant(s)

  • The recording date and time

  • A link to the full recording in Claap

This ensures you see exactly what was said, by whom, and in what context.

For each new call, Harvestr’s AI automatically parses the content of the "Product feedback" section to extract relevant feedback and categorize it, saving you time and surfacing what matters most.
