Overview
The Claap x Allo integration allows you to import your Allo call recordings into Claap. Claap will then transcribe the call, automatically generate meeting notes, sync them with your CRM, and give you access to key insights.
Prerequisites
Before connecting Allo with Claap, make sure you have:
A Claap Business license (API access is not available on Basic or Pro licenses)
Admin access to your Claap workspace (required to generate API keys)
Call recording enabled in your Allo account
How to connect Allo with Claap
Step 1: Generate your Claap API key
Go to Settings → API & Webhooks
Click on API tab
Click Create API key
Give your key a name (e.g., "Allo Integration")
Copy the API key and store it securely — you won't be able to see it again
Step 2: Connect Claap in Allo
Open Allo (web, mobile, or desktop app)
Go to Settings → Integrations
Find Claap in the integrations list and click Connect
Paste your Claap API key copied from Step 1
Click Save to activate the connection
That's it! Your Allo account is now connected to Claap.
How it works
Once connected, all your Allo call recordings will automatically sync to Claap within minutes of the call ending. Each recording includes:
Full audio recording of the call
AI-generated transcription with speaker identification
AI-powered summary and key topics
Call metadata (date, time, duration)
Contact information when available
This is a one-way integration — data flows from Allo to Claap only.
How to disconnect
To stop syncing Allo recordings to Claap:
Open Allo
Go to Settings → Integrations
Find Claap and click Disconnect
Note: Existing recordings will remain in your Claap workspace after disconnecting.
