Comments are a great way to start contextual discussions at any moment of a claap video. Share your ideas and thoughts by leaving comments and mentioning teammates.

Adding a comment

While recording

If you want to pin or bookmark moments while recording a video with your Chrome Extension or Desktop App, simply click on the πŸ“Œ icon on the recording bar:

The pin will create a comment which will be displayed on the lateral bar of that video when it is saved and available. You can later edit the pinned moment to add a comment and more context if needed.

While watching a claap

  1. Navigate to the claap to comment.

  2. Add a comment with one of the following options:

    • Click on the Comment button in the control bar below the video

    • Or press C on your keyboard

    • Or press ALT/OPTION key on your keyboard and select a zone on the video with your mouse.

  3. The comment is added to the Comment bar on the right-hand side.

  4. Fill your comment and press Send or press CMD + ENTER.
