Enable access for visitors

Visitors are users who do not have a Claap account or who are not logged in to Claap. To share a recording or channel with a visitor:

  1. Click on the Share button at the top right of the channel or recording screen

  2. Click on the Share public link tab

  3. Enable the Public link setting

4. Configure the Sharing options (see below)

  5. Click on Copy link

  6. Share this link with anyone and they will now have access to the recording or channel

Sharing options

When enabling the Public link on a recording, you can configure the following options:

  • Set a link expiration date (after which the link will no longer be public)

  • Give viewers permission to comment

  • Give viewers permission to download the recording

  • Share the recording at a specific time-stamp

Visitor permissions

Anyone with the link to the recording or channel will be able to view it when Public link is turned to ON. Visitors can also sign up as a guest and leave comments visible to everyone.

Workspace-level security settings

Public links may be enabled/disabled for recordings and channels at workspace level by workspace Admins. Check the article Privacy and Security Settings
