Restrict access to a single recording in a shared folder

Workplace folders are by default public. Read how to restrict access to specific recordings.

Workplace folders are by default public meaning they have the sharing link set to Public. Anyone with the folder URL can access these folders and associated recordings.

In some cases, you might want to ensure people with access to a recording can see that recording specifically and not all the recordings within the same folder. To do so, you need to set the folder link to Private, which sets all contained recordings to Private by cascading rights.

You can only switch from Private to Public at recording level if the folder is set to Private.
