Create Linear Issues from Claap Recordings
Learning Objective
By the end of this tutorial, you'll know how to create a Linear issue directly from a Claap recording and link recordings to existing Linear issues without leaving Claap.
Prerequisites
You should already have a Claap workspace with at least one recording saved.
You should already have access to a Linear workspace with permission to create issues.
You should already have the Claap x Linear integration enabled in your workspace settings. If you haven't connected Linear yet, contact your Claap workspace admin.
Open the Send to Apps panel in Claap
Navigate to your recording's Overview tab
Open the Claap recording you want to report as a bug. In the recording view, select the [Overview] tab. This is where Claap surfaces sharing and integration options for the recording.
Open the Send to Apps panel
Click the [Send to Apps] icon in the [Overview] tab.
A pop-up appears with options for creating or linking a Linear issue.
Create or link a Linear issue
Choose your action
In the Linear pop-up, choose one of two paths:
To create a new issue: Fill in the issue details title, description, team, and any other required fields then click [Create Issue]. Claap creates the Linear issue and attaches the recording automatically.
To link to an existing issue: Select the option to link the recording to an existing Linear issue, search for the relevant issue, and confirm the link.
Verify: After clicking [Create Issue], confirm the new Linear issue appears in your Linear workspace with the Claap recording attached.
